About Us

Brian created BUILD to better inform and equip players with the tools necessary to reach their goals. Drawing from over 25 years of playing and coaching experience, he has worked at the high school, club, and collegiate levels since 2004. His extensive experience with nationally ranked players and programs has given him unique insight into physically and mentally building athletes. In addition to his work with elite programs, Brian helped open a brand-new school and academy, taking the reins as the head coach. Under his leadership, the team transformed from a 1-24 record to a 16-12 season, securing the school's first league championship and Coach of The Year Award. 

Brian’s coaching résumé includes a tenure at Cypress College, where he was responsible for the offense and player development, helping the team transform into a top-10 scoring program in the state. In 2018, he joined Mater Dei High School as the player development coach, contributing to back-to-back CIF Open Division Championships. Most recently, Brian has been part of the Orange Coast College coaching staff, where the Pirates have secured consecutive state titles under his guidance. Additionally, Brian has been a part of Nike Elite Camps and a consultant for local colleges, further expanding his impact on player development at all levels.

Brian has worked with some of the best players in the country, state, and region for over a decade. At BUILD Basketball, we take pride in helping athletes maximize their potential. Our players have gone on to compete at the highest levels, including at prestigious schools such as Stanford, Duke, MIT, Princeton, and many more. With over 30 high school players surpassing the 1,000-point milestone and more than a dozen achieving the same in college, BUILD Basketball continues to be a leader in player development.
